Zinfandel For the win!

We are honored to have made James Suckling’s 2018 Top 100 American Wines, and we are the only Zinfandel on the list! Thank you James Suckling for awarding our 2015 Black Chicken Zinfandel 95 points.
“Blueberries, slate, citrus, orange rind and raspberry cheesecake. Medium to full body, fine tannins and vibrant acidity, which really captivates you. A long, mineral-driven finish. This old-vine zin is a breath of fresh air. A fabulous, terroir-driven wine. Drink now or hold.”

Meet the vineyard manager of the famed Monte Rosso Vineyard that we all “oh-so love” and the review of the Biale 2017 Monte Rosso Vineyard Zinfandel

Robert Biale Vineyards Is Honored To Be Included In These Publications

“1880s Vineyard In Good Hands” by San Francisco Chronicle

Robert Biale Vineyards is proud to join the 80 wineries in Napa that are Napa Green Certified in both the winery and vineyards. Forbes highlights a few of these wineries in the article “Celebrate Earth Day With These Top Sustainable Wines From Napa Valley.”

Our 2016 Varozza Vineyard Zinfandel made #17 in Washington Wine Blog’s Top 100 with a score of 95 points awarded by Dr. Owen Bargreen.
“This historic Napa vineyard was first farmed by the Varozza family since 1913. The Zinfandel shows an intriguing translucence and starts off with cigar ash, cran-cherry, coffee ground and wild blackberry pie aromatics. I am in love with the purity of fruit here and seamless texture. Milk chocolate, crushed mint, black cherry cordial and roasted date flavors all impress. This stunning bottling is truly one of the best in California. Drink 2018-2030”
