Napa native Pat Jeffries has had a career spanning 37 years and counting, working side by side with
some of Napa Valley’s finest chefs, restaurateurs, and winemakers. Pat came to Robert Biale Vineyards
after he and his partners closed their Napa Valley restaurant in 2016. Pat’s passion for the business
started in Yountville when he was 15 years old washing dishes on the weekends at a local diner. His
parent’s love, humor, and constant encouragement birthed Pat’s superpower. He has used his powers
making people feel welcome and at ease, over the years while working, managing, and building some of
the top restaurants and teams in the Napa Valley. When he is not encouraging people to laugh, relax,
and experiment with new food and wine, he is cooking, painting, writing, singing, and most of all
laughing.
Some of the best advice he has received:
“Respect others, your time is no more important than anyone else’s, so be on time, and be present.” My
Dad, Pat Jeffries
“It is always best to know what you do not know.” Thomas Keller
“Nothing is too much trouble if it turns out the way it should.” Julia Child by way of Michael Gyetvan
